Discrimination against circumcising ethnoses as a psychosocial defence mechanism against circumcision neuroses
Pedocircumcision increases the prevalence of sexual frustrations and circumcision neuroses. This inevitably causes opposite tendencies that tend to neutralize them in mixed societies. The thoughtless response of naturals to circumcision neuroses can stir up hatred of Jews and Muslims.
Discrimination against Jews and Muslims is based on the existence of their stereotypic traits. As long as ethnic stereotypic traits seem illogical to gentiles they will tend to find them suspicious, deliberate, and threatening and to overstress their negative aspects. The unknown origin of these stereotypes and their persistence intensifies the discrimination and transforms it into racism.
Jewish and Muslim stereotypic traits are generally attributed to religion or ethnicity. They are considered to be of entirely cultural origin. The concept of the Circumcision complex also relates the stereotypic traits of these ethnoses to religion but reveals that they have physical cause.
In social perspective the mental effects of pedocircumcision aid the development of clannishness, conservatism, moral stagnation, possessiveness, acquisitiveness and fervent religiousness. In mixed societies these effects spontaneously provoke their antagonists and produce anti-Semitism and/or anti-Islamism. Pedocircumcision perpetually generates interethnic conflicts because it has long-term psychosocial effects. The lack of recognition of these effects only intensifies the disagreements and interethnic tensions.
On the individual level the compensations of the Circumcision complex try to relieve the uneasiness caused by the deficiency of pleasure sensitivity. Similarly, on the social level the discrimination against pedocircumcising ethnoses tries to alleviate the uneasiness that circumcision neuroses cause to naturals.
Religious fundamentalism tries to authorize pedocircumcision neuroses
Discrimination against circumcising groups may be considered a type of automatic social defence mechanism that aims to counterbalance the psychological effects of traditional mass pedocircumcision. It is like a psychosocial defence mechanism against circumcision neuroses. Anti-Semitism and Islamophobia may be regarded as a psychosocial compensation for circumcision neuroses. They are homeostatic psychosocial tendencies occurring in mixed societies due to a misunderstood cause of the ethnic specificity.
Circumcision neurosis is the outcome of the persistent attempts of the nervous system to replace the lost pleasure. These attempts are inadequate because the loss of erogenous sensitivity is irreversible. Likewise, discrimination against circumcising ethnoses is an ineffective and inadequate effort of naturals in mixed societies to get rid of the circumcision neuroses. This effort is inadequate because it targets the effect instead of its underlying cause. Circumcision neuroses won’t go away unless mass pedocircumcision is abolished.
Anti-Semitism and anti-Islamism are types of social reaction against the spreading of the Circumcision complex. But their endeavours are doomed to failure because they hunt the aftereffects instead of the primary cause. Not only this: the inadequateness of the anti-Semitic agenda makes its venture counterproductive and antisocial. Anti-Semites and anti-Islamists are like ghost busters who have visions of paranormal conspiracy everywhere else but not at its physical source.
Anti-Semitism and anti-Islamism in Western countries may be regarded as an ill-judged attempt of society to offset, mitigate or eliminate pedocircumcision neuroses. Contrariwise, religious chauvinism such as Zionism or fundamental Islam may be regarded as an attempt to legalize pedocircumcision neuroses.
Perhaps the recognition of circumcision neuroses could mitigate their negative social effects. But understanding alone can eliminate neither circumcision neuroses nor the interethnic conflict they continually generate. Only the abolishment of pedocircumcision can do away with them.
Hatred of the prepuce has brought about hatred of the haters. Only knowing this can help unravel the vicious ball of hate.
Freud deemed that Jewish neonatal circumcision is a remnant of the castration complex. He attributed anti-Semitism to the castration complex that circumcision of Jews subconsciously arouses in Christians. This assumption, however, paradoxically implies that Jews who practice a habit driven by the fear of castration are less susceptible to the castration complex than Christians who do not enforce it.
Freud suggested that an insignificant genital detail frightens Christians and blames their upset unconscious mind for anti-Semitism. Freud invented the castration complex under the pressure of the sensual dissatisfaction caused by his circumcision-introduced erogenous castration. He greatly underestimates the mental effects of pedocircumcision. It is normal to him to feel and assume that sexual thoughts easily discomfort people. And the same applies to his castration theory of anti-Semitism: it involves circumcision but inadequately.
Freud felt that circumcision had something to do with Jew-hatred but suggested it is a remnant of the past because he could only indirectly sense circumcision’s effects. He decided that anti-Semitism stems from a subconscious fear instead of from artificially inflicted neurophysiological difference that causes natural antipathy.
Freud didn’t see the role of Jews in anti-Semitism at all. He misunderstood the real role of pedocircumcision in creating interethnic conflict. He didn’t realize that pedocircumcision has the power to create neurophysiological races. Freudian psychology didn’t give us a clue for soothing anti-Semitism and improving the future. For this reason psychoanalysis is needlessly introvertive and distanced from physiological reality – a characteristic to which the Circumcision complex is conductive.
Another cause for anti-Semitism that Freud mentions is the “Jewish group narcissism”. It seems that he referred to the cliquishness of Jews. Freud didn’t link Jewish ethnocentrism to circumcision. Undue collectivism or clannishness, however, is one of the direct consequences of a common physical trait and is a common compensation of the Circumcision complex. We suggest that anti-Semitism is a simple and normal response of Christians to circumcision neuroses. Freud did not see the psychological impact of pedocircumcision simply because he was preoccupied with channelling it. We propose that traditional pedocircumcision has led to anti-Semitism because it has direct effects on mentality and not because it evokes ancient unconscious memories of emasculation.
