Passion-governed reason of paedocircumcised II: Eternal erection
Circumcision desensitises. It causes loss of erogenous sensitivity and fosters abstract reasoning. Cortical reorganization following pedocircumcision tends to compensate for the lost sensation and makes circumcision a spiritual motivator. Brain plasticity decreases with age and so does the spiritualizing power of paedocircumcision. Pleasure-suppressing religions are obliged to promise convincing sensual compensations in order to survive. And in due course, they have equipped the world to come with corresponding pleasures.
Circumcision bestows a feeling of incomplete gratification the sexual component of which increases with the age at which circumcision is done. The incompleteness of gratification implies the possibility of future completion. Paedocircumcision facilitates the formation of a perception-like sensation of a parallel reality blessed with indulgence. It encourages belief in the existence of a sensual paradise and requires a religion that promises it. The better this paradise satisfies the lost gratification the more tangible its mental image is.
Circumcision of children suppresses sexuality more directly than neonatal circumcision because children have already developed erogenous sensitivity. Child circumcision tends to set the mind on sexuality. Islam trims children who more or less associate genital sensation with pleasure. First of all, mid-childhood circumcision demands a heaven of sexual excess. In due course, Islamic paradise provides more concrete sexual rewards than the Judaic World to Come.
Al-Itqan fi Ulum al-Qur’an, p. 351
Islam is in honour bound to straightforwardly offer convincing sexual compensations for the erogenous deficiency that paedocircumcision causes. And it does it properly: it promises no less than eternal overindulgence and sexual satisfaction in the afterlife. Islam perfectly embodies the unconscious dispositions that child circumcision expectedly produces. Islam wisely respects the chronic sexual dissatisfaction it inflicts on believers via paedocircumcision and assures them that their earthly possession is only a preparation for the next life.
Noted Muslims who are able to maintain harems own a copy of the sexual paradise in this life. Even the largest harem, however, cannot bring back the sensitivity gone away with the love tentacle. Nor can it quench the fire of the chronic displeasure that circumcised people subconsciously feel in the belly. Ordinary Muslims rely exclusively on the blissful heaven to recompense for the lost pleasurable sensation. They must be even more zealous in their faith.
As tegards promiscuity of men in Islamic countriessome may say that Muslims are in a state of eternal erection in this life too. It seems that a downward transfer of sexuality has occurred between worlds. The reason may be sought in the higher rate of awareness of the sexual character of the lost erogenous tissue in late circumcision.
Inexperienced bliss speaks of pleasure deficit
The neurophysiological disappointment in the insufficiency of gratification fills the World to come with pleasures. It also makes those who were circumcised as minors receptive to promises for eternal gratification in the afterlife and inclines them to religiousness.
Naturals are less likely to be tempted by supernatural orgasmic experiences because they lack the extra regions of the brain engaged in reconstructing and imaging unavailable pleasure. The ability to experience the full sway of sexual gratification demotivates gazing of the mind’s eye of naturals into the afterlife. The unearthly orgasm may seem quite eerie to them because of the despiritualizing effect of the foreskin, as Muslim preachers could probably categorise it.
Qur’an describes men’s orgasm in paradise as an inexperienced bliss. It seems to exploit the incompleteness of the sensual fulfilment of paedocircumcised Muslims that has made them susceptible to related promises in the first place. It seems that the fainting orgasm in the hereafter describes the natural orgasmic sensation that is unattainable to the pedocircumcised men in this world.
More often than not the supernatural character of things evokes suspicion and apprehension as it includes unknown factors. Supernaturalness implies unpleasant surprise, stress and potential danger. The fact that the Qur’an uses the unearthliness of the orgasm as an enticement reveals that believers suffer chronic sexual dissatisfaction that they are looking forward to gratify. Their dissatisfaction is strong enough to make them ever-expecting and to develop an appreciation for invisible realms. The supernatural orgasm of Islam connotes that pleasure deficit has become a Muslim ethnic trait that Islam officially acknowledges and hence exploits for religious and political purposes.
